Digital colour and offset litho printing is based on 4 colour (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black - CMYK) separation or the process colour system. It should be noted that all colours specified as RGB or spot colours (using the example, Pantone® colour system), will be converted to the closest CMYK match. Although, our high spec RIPs are capable of handling all spot colours and RGB colours, in some cases there may be alteration to the colour specified and some colours may change.
Our presses are capable of handling spot colours. Please call for further information.
For a really strong black use, as a minimum, a 50% cyan "shiner", but for the perfect black use the following four colour break down: C=30% - M=30% - Y+0% - K=100%
