Welcome to Face Creative Services, London’s most comprehensive digital print facility. Based in Baron Street at the Angel, Islington in central London, Face Creative offers a digital printing service unparalleled in the South East, probably the country!
With our two HP Indigo presses and two of the incredible Xeikon 5000 presses we can produce virtually any printed item. These two digital print systems, which are considered to be at the highest end of digital presses, allow us to print anything from business cards to folders, leaflets to case bound books and mailers to presentation portfolios.
Our in-house finishing department can handle anything from trimming and folding to die cutting and wiro to case binding.
On this website you will find everything you need to produce the perfect job, cutter guides, templates, paper sizes, binding guides and artwork tips. You will also find pages on our large format and modular display services, ideal for any event or presentation. Or you can just give us a call.
This system is considered by many to be the ultimate the Rolls Royce of digital printing. It is a sheet fed press, using SRA3 stock and prints four colour process onto a huge range of materials. This machine is great for bound documents of up to A3 page size and can use paper up to 400gsm. We can also use special colours, and the variable data or personalisation facility is boundless.
We operate two of these magnificent presses, the only company in the south of the country to do so, and if the Indigo is the Rolls Royce, this has got to be the Aston Martin. It’s web fed and prints four colour process, both side simultaneously onto a 500mm reel. Stock ranges from 90gsm up to 350gsm with a varied range of substrates. The actual print area is 470mm by 11metres, so the Xeikon is perfect for concertina or roll fold leaflets, (we’ve actually produced a 32pp A3 concertina folded document for American Express) and die cut folders.
Like the Indigo, the variable data facility is virtually limitless.

So now let’s get close up and personal. Personalised targeted mailers are proven to increase response rates by up to a massive 35% on conventional mailers. At Face Creative we can produce highly tailored mailings on our high end HP Indigo and Xeikon presses.
So, personalisation. We all know it works and it has been standard practice to ‘personalise’ by laser overprinting customer details. But this just doesn’t do it for approximately 98% of all direct mail recipients. True personalisation means using all the information about a customer, their stated preferences or purchase history, to ensure the sales message is entirely relevant.
Most organisations hold, or can acquire, this information, but rarely exploit it to the full. In part, due to the limitations of traditional printing, where single colour overprinting is the only cost effective option. But any colour image changes require new artwork and plates for each mailer. Multiply these costs for hundreds, let alone thousands…well the rest is obvious; as is your clients reaction!
The variable data options with digital printing are virtually unlimited. In a single print run each document can be completely different. There are almost no restrictions. Text, photographs, maps, logos, graphs…anything can be changed, anywhere on the page. Even the image on the front cover can be different to every recipient.
And the cost? Yes, a personalised run is more expensive than a generic digital print mailer, but most of the extra cost is in the data management initially, and if you’re looking at an increased response rate of in excess of 35%, your client will consider it money well spent.
